Visit From a Champion

Over the past week Altius Boxing Gym played host to WIBA World Champion Urvashi Singh. Urvashi completed the final stage of her fight preparations by making use of the world class facilities of the gym. She also trained under the guidance of Coach Pradeep, who was happy to share his experience and support.

Urvashi successfully defended her WBC International Super Bantamweight Title at Malvern Town Hall on December 15 in a 10 round shut out against opponent Thanchanok Phanon.

Altius members were inspired by meeting and training alongside a World Champion. Congratulations on your win, Urvashi and we hope to see you back at Altius in the near future!
