Coach Sahil hails from the city of Chandigarh, India. He has an amateur boxing career spanning 14 years, amassing 65 bouts and winning medals at a national level in the School and Junior categories. He was also a two-time Police Games Champion and competed in numerous tournaments including Elite Nationals and Inter University Championships.

As a coach, Sahil has 6 years experience. Career highlights include working with the Indian Youth National Team and selection as a coach for the Target Olympic Podium Scheme. He has also worked under the tutelage of revered coaches Santiago Nieva and “The Cuban” BI Fernandez.

Sahil is a firm believer that the lessons learned from boxing transcend the sport, and can be applied in everyday life. The physical, social, and emotional enhancements that come from boxing lead to good health, resilience, and a productive life.
